Friday, Nov. 7, 2025: Weekend Journaling

 

Our class has a new weekly assignment. At the end of each week, the students will bring home their green "Weekend Journal" books:

To receive a full grade, students need to make sure:

1) Did I write the date on the top-left of my journal entry? 

2) Is my handwriting neat?

3) Are my sentences and pictures full of detail?

4) Are my pictures coloured neatly?

Please encourage your child to double check their work with you before submitting it next week. You may help the child spell words correctly, but the student will not have marks removed if spelling is incorrect.

Here is the prompt that was handed out for this long weekend!

The students will share their weekend highlights during our class meeting on the carpet.
